To delete an image inserted in Msword, click on it to select it. Then press either the delete key or the backspace key on your computer keyboard. See difference between delete key and Backspace

You might have been wondering why there are two delete keys on the keyboard! The truth is, they may look similar with ordinary look and functions might look the same at time but they are not the same.

Delete and Backspace function

"The Backspace Key" clears alphanumerical values, letters or images to the left from where the cursor is placed. From the above scenario, if we should press the backspace key, these following letters will be cleared ; o, s, t, r, a, p which forms "Parts o".
Similarly, if we should press the "Delete Key", the letters will be cleared to the right of where our cursor is placed. Thereby clearing "f a naijaconfirm".

How to Remove Password from BitLocker in Windows 7

The BitLocker in Windows 7 helps you to protect your USB or a hard disk drive by password strongly. It actually encrypts all the data of the a drive. So if you want to remove the password from that drive, encrypted previously, you have to decrypt it using the Bit Locker. This article is written to show you how to decrypt an encrypted drive by BitLoker in Windows 7 without losing any data.


Before performing this action be sure that you are logged in as an Administrator or have the right privilege of it. If it isn't so, read the 3 ways to enable Administrator account in Windows 7.

How to Remove password from a drive encrypted with BitLocker:

Important: If you have a USB encrypted/protected by Bitlocker, first of all connect it. The drive must be unlocked to Turn off Bit Locker from it.

     1. Click on the Windows Start menu and type BitLocker in Search bar.

     4. Click on Turn off BitLocker and from its new window press on Decrypt Drive. Then the decryption processes will start.

This may take several minutes depending on the size of the drive, its data and PC's hardware performances. So wait until the process is completed successfully.

3 Ways to Enable Administrator Account in Windows 7

The administrator account is a hidden, disabled and built-in account with Windows 7/Vista/xp. But a user can enable this account for some special actions. Such as troubleshooting, installing harmful software or some special networking tasks. By default, most of the user accounts are a part/member of the Administrator account. Others are standard accounts without being any part of an administrator account.


Windows disabled this account to prevent malicious programs and harmful activities on the system. So any special task of system needs administrative privilege and the annoying UAC (User Account Control) bar will pop up for the users, except the administrator account.

This post will show you how to enable Administrator account in three easy ways. Choose only one method from below to activate administrator account.

After completing any of above processes, reboot your PC or log off. Now you will see a new account "Administrator" which has no password by default. Log in to this account and enjoy the real administrator power of your PC.

Following our last post on how to add images and clip art to your document, you might find it difficult moving the image from point to another. If you've used graphics applications before, you might expect to be able to simply drag the image and drop it where you need it. Though you can drag images and clip Art from one place to another in your document but you need to do something first.
This thing you have to do is called "TEXT WRAPPING", to text wrap
1. Left click on the image you want to move to make sure it is selected and then right click; a dialog like image below will appear.
2. Locate the word "wrap text" from the opened dialog and put your cursor over it
3. A new list of options will appear, click on any except "Behind Text or In Front of Text" and you'll be able to move the image.
N.B Text wrap as Behind text will move the image to the back of whatever you might have typed. If you want it that way, then select it. It is good and useful depending on what you're typing.
Text wrap as in front of text will move the image over the typed text and will cover what you have typed. Goodluck if you wish to use it.

ANOTHER WAY TO MOVE AN IMAGE

This method is  also text wrapping, don't think it'll be something new
1. Select the image you want to move and a tab called "format" will appear from the group of tabs above in your Msword interface. (see image below)
2. Left Click on the format tab and a new ribbon will appear
3. When the new ribbon opens, left click on the small arrow below "Wrap Text" (See image above) and select your desired wrap style. Hint: I usually use text wrap as "Tight or Through".

The words file extension may sound as if it's something difficult to understand or funny to some ears, how can files be extended? asked by one of my students. File extension does not mean the elasticity of a file but it refers to the piece of alphanumerical values added to the name of a document at the end. An example of this is africaqueen2face.mp3
The above highlighted .mp3 is an example of file extension and this .mp3 is what that makes devices recognize africaqueen2face.mp3 as an audio file.
Contrarily, if the file africaqueen2face is saved as africaqueen2face.mp4 instead of .mp3; It means the file will now play as a video and not as an audio. More file extensions and their explanation.
