Adding Image and Clip Art to document
Clip Art is the term given to pre-made images that are ready for use in your Microsoft Word documents. There are many Clip Art categories and you search for objects, Business, cartoon, Christmas and many more.To insert a Clip Art image into a document, click Insert > Image or Clip Art. As you can see in the image below
And immediately after left clicking on the Image or Clip Art icon, a dialog will appear at the right hand side of your Msword interface for clip art or a popup dialog for image. (see image below)
When the Clip Art dialog opens, double click (left click twice and very fast) on the clip art (i.e image result) you want and it will appear at the same point where your cursor is blinking on your document. N.B Make sure you tick the "include office.com content from the Clip Art dialog for you to see more clip arts (Internet connection may be needed)
Now let's talk about inserting the image when the insert picture dialog pops up. Select where you think your image is saved either from Desktop, downloads, Pictures, or Network places if possible and locate the picture. N.B Only files with the following extensions can be inserted (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif). Left click on the picture making sure it is highlighted and then click on insert like the image above. The picture will also appear where your cursor is blinking at the moment.
