Google to Stop Chrome support on Windows XP at year's end

Google on Thursday announced it will shut down support for Chrome on Windows XP at the end of the year.
"We will continue to provide regular updates and security patches to Chrome on XP through the end of 2015," said Mark Larson, Chrome's director of engineering, in a short blog post Thursday.
A year and a half ago, Larson pledged to support Chrome on the even-then-aged operating system until "at least April 2015."
"We know that not everyone can easily switch to a newer operating system," Larson said of Google's decision to continue supporting Chrome on XP after the latter's retirement. "Millions of people are still working on XP computers every day [and] we want those people to have the option to use a browser that's up-to-date and as safe as possible on an unsupported operating system."
But enough was apparently enough.
Microsoft called it quits on Windows XP a year ago Tuesday, when it issued the final scheduled security updates for the 2001 OS. (The company made a one-time exception shortly thereafter when it shipped an emergency patch for its Internet Explorer (IE) browser.)
Because Microsoft halted security fixes for IE on Windows XP on April 14, 2014, security professionals urged the OS's users to switch to another browser. Dropping IE for Chrome, Mozilla's Firefox or Opera Software's Opera was one way to minimize -- but not eliminate -- risk, they said.
Neither Mozilla or Opera have publicized end-of-support dates for their browsers on Windows XP.
According to Web metrics vendor Net Applications, approximately 18.5% of all Windows PCs ran XP in March, slightly more than half the 34.5% the OS accounted for in October 2013, when Larson set Chrome's earliest support demise at this month.

How to Remove password from a drive encrypted with BitLocker:
Important: If you have a USB encrypted/protected by Bitlocker, first of all connect it. The drive must be unlocked to Turn off Bit Locker from it.1. Click on the Windows Start menu and type BitLocker in Search bar.

2. From that search result select the Manage BitLocker and its windows will pop up.In the BitLocker Manager window all encrypted and un-encrypted drives will be seen.

3. Look for your password protected drive and on the right side of this drive there is a link option Turn off BitLocker. If you see Unlock Drive there, click on it and type the password to unlock it. After that Turn off BitLocker will be seen.

3 Ways to Enable Administrator Account in Windows 7
The administrator account is a hidden, disabled and built-in account with Windows 7/Vista/xp. But a user can enable this account for some special actions. Such as troubleshooting, installing harmful software or some special networking tasks. By default, most of the user accounts are a part/member of the Administrator account. Others are standard accounts without being any part of an administrator account.Windows disabled this account to prevent malicious programs and harmful activities on the system. So any special task of system needs administrative privilege and the annoying UAC (User Account Control) bar will pop up for the users, except the administrator account.
This post will show you how to enable Administrator account in three easy ways. Choose only one method from below to activate administrator account.
Method#1. Using command prompt:
Search cmd.exe in start menu and run cmd.exe as administrator.

Method#2. From Local Users and Groups

Expand the Local users and Groups arrow and select Users. Then, From the right pane, double-click on the Administrator.
Un-check the "Account is disable" and it should be look like below.
OK it and your settings will be saved.
From here you can also disable the Administrator or other account.
Method#3. From Local Security Policy
Type secpol.msc in start menu and run it as administrator.
From this Local Security Policies, expand the security options under the Local Policies.
Find "Account: Administrator account status" from the right pane.
Open the "Account: Administrator account status" and choose Enabled to enable it.
You can also disable it from here.

OK it and your settings will be saved.
From here you can also disable the Administrator or other account.
Method#3. From Local Security Policy
